Union City, where Jaime Jaramillo started Centro 40 years, used to be the other side of the tracks, mostly poor immigrants and very few services. As Centro began bringing food distribution, translation, legal and other services, Jaramilo also introduced a thrift store |
which needed a more commercial presence and signage while retaining the local styles and aesthetics. In 2014, after doing an extensive documentary photo shoot, we created a striking poster to accompany the update of Centro's facility brochure.

In July of 2014, the Physical Education Department of UC Berkeley came to us with what sounded like a fun project: produce all the advertising, banners and swag, like squeeze balls and T-Shirts, for a back-to-school event promoting health and their many services and facilities. Just one problem: the entire department wouldn't be able to meet to discuss the |
project until late July but all the design, including a logo, and product had to be in hand in exactly one month. After putting together a crack vendor team and a precise schedule, and donating some services, we were able to deliver a full 66% of their budget to take care of manufacturing. In fact, we incurred no rush delivery charges. |

Suddenly deciding to attend an industry event, Ms. Allen came to us with a request for a complete package: logo redesign, brochure, labels, packaging and more.
